The
Alpe di Siusi is regarded as one of the most
fabulous landscapes in the Dolomites (Natural World Heritage Site). In the
summertime,
countless trails lead throug verdant fields. The rich flora blossoms between mid-June and mid-July, and includes many rare species. In the
wintertime, the slopes of the
Alpe di Siusi are a
paradise for skiers,
snowboarders,
toboggan enthusiasts,
snowshoe hikers... all against a breathtaking backdrop.
Ready for the Olympics

It´s no coincidence that from June 29 till July 27 the Kenyan marathon runners will prepare themselves for the olympic games in Beijing on the Alpe di Siusi. In winter however the national cross-country teams of Germany, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Norway, Japan, the United States, (etc., etc.) all have chosen the Alpe di Siusi as their training camp. |
